Cisco Live! Berlin was another opportunity for Cisco Investments to support its portfolio companies by hosting thirteen companies in the Cisco Investments Pavilion and by facilitating conversations with customers, system integrators, resellers and journalists.
The Cisco Investment Pavilion also hosted seven companies from the Cisco Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) ChallengeUp! Program. One highlight was a demonstration of orchestrating “Smart City” infrastructure in Barcelona utilizing Cisco Fog Computing. As evidence of the increasing visibility of Cisco Investments at Cisco Live!, five companies graduated from a presence in the Cisco Investments Pavilion at previous shows to occupying their own booths on the World of Solutions show floor in Berlin. These five companies were: Corvil, LiveAction, Italtel, MapR and CliQr (represented in the Cisco Partner Pavilion). In total, twenty-five companies affiliated with Cisco Investments were showcased at Cisco Live!Berlin.
Cisco Live! Berlin offered several forums for portfolio companies to engage with Cisco executives, engineers and other Cisco personnel as well as Cisco Channel Partners and customers. The Partner Connections Event enabled a selection of ISVs to promote their offerings to EMEAR-focused resellers. Cisco Investments portfolio companies Phunware and MapR were active participants. Companies from the Cisco Investments portfolio, including eSentire, Flashpoint and relayr, participated in the DevNet-sponsored panel entitled “Building the Future through Innovation: Learnings from Cisco Innovation Partners.”
After the show, the feedback from the portfolio companies was uniformly positive. Examples of comments received are:

We are always looking to improve the experience CiscoLive! provides to our portfolio companies and look forward to an even larger presence at CiscoLive! Las Vegas in July, 2016.
